This is a fabulous remodel of a very old san miguel home. One of the things i liked best about the house were the beautiful views and the peaceful setting convenient to the center of

Town. Every morning i loved watching the hummingbirds come to partake of their breakfasts.

Each room in the house is comfortable and easy to live with. The tiled bathrooms and kitchen are state of the art. I heartily recommend this house for a wonderful getaway.

We found Casa de la Vista to be an extraordinarily welcoming and comfortable rental. The authentic 1700 casa is simply charming, at the same time addresses all the needs of modern tourists with internet access and phone features. Its location on a quiet street allows for quick access to the busy central Plaza with tours to take, unique restaurants and shops. A visit to the huge local market is a must-see exciting shopping experience. Visitors to San Miguel de Allende will long remember and be enticed to return by the view from the roof terrace while enjoying the ambiance of this lovely home.

We had so much fun staying in your lovely restored colonial home as first time visitors to San Miguel this spring. The home reflects the grandeur but also warmth and beauty of the city and surrounding area (Guanajauto, Michoacan etc.). It is located in El Centro, so even while relaxing at home we were able to look out at the view and feel the wonder of being in the middle of historic Mexico. It was a perfect base for what was hopefully the first of many visits to San Miguel and area.

We loved staying at Casa de la Vista rental home.  It's so close to the center of San Miguel, has been beautifully restored with all the modern conveniences and lends itself to entertaining.

Sitting on the roof, sipping a cool drink and watching the sun set across the city, makes for a vacation memory never to be forgotten. If 5 thumbs up was all that you could give, I'd give it 10.

Our visit to the lovely rental home, Casa de la Vista in San Miguel was a visit out of time. The home is comfortable and easy to navigate. It's stunningly beautiful, historic, and cozy. Its views are breath-taking, and its access to the center of town is more than convenient.

And then there's the true otherworldliness of the place, as though one has stepped through Alice's mirror, or Aslan's armoire.  The sense of history, of visiting another place in another time, is palpable. After a day or an evening on the town, or a dusty day-trip into the prairie, returning to Casa de la Vista is as passing though the doors of the hacienda:  the Don and the Dona are in for the evening, all is well.
